I wanted to thank everyone that helped out yesterday! The event would not have been as successful without all your hard work and perseverance!
The work involved in preparing for and running a show is extensive but it benefits our members and their parents greatly. The members are able to participate, learn more about showing in general, what's expected for each discipline and learn what to expect at higher levels of competition. It shows every participant plays such an important role whether they are putting a rail back up, acting as the show jumping whipper or grooming for a rider. As each member participates, their confidence builds and they feel a part of the show whether they are fortunate enough to compete or not. It helps the parents learn how to help our own children as the coaches do their best, but can not be available to every rider in every event. Participating at these events is a wonderful way to bring our club together where the families spend the day together and the children build their relationships.
Donations
Twisted Pine Farm donated $200.00 to our club for all your volunteer efforts yesterday. Amazing!!
Ian Woodley photo shoot - won by Erin Kerr!!
Please forgive me for any omissions in the volunteer lists below.
Grounds Prep
The trails and grounds looked beautiful! Thank you to Garth and Ed who raked mulch (for hours), Dave Bonney for prepping the Show Jumping & Dressage Arena footing and to those that assisted with the clean up.
Food Booth
Karen and Loranne did a fabulous job organizing the food booth yesterday. The sales in food totaled $386.00 and the draw raised $101.00 which is one of our most successful food booths. They had many helpers that brought sandwiches and assisted with Sales. Thank you to Heather Watson, Pam Lillis, Chris-Anne Preston, Peter Goossens and the Wild family. Thank you to Jesse, Cole and Jacob for selling draw tickets!

Thanks to the following people that volunteered their time and assisted with the show:
Dave Bonney - Parking Attendant

Special thanks to Lori Woodley for her amazing organization of this event! A Big Thanks to Dana and Rebecca for coordinating the mounts and for providing all the assistance! Thank you to Twisted Pine for the use of the facility!
The Examiners were very impressed with how clean the ponies looked and with how well prepared each of the Members were! There is considerable effort required to prepare your clothing, horse tack, tack boxes as well as preparing the ponies. I personally have never seen Ellie Mae look so good!! ![]()
Thank you to each of the volunteers that provided food or drink for the Examiners and Members.
You should be very proud of yourselves!
Another example of what a spectacular club we belong to.

We are proud to announce all of the members that tested over the weekend are one step closer to getting their Pony Club Levels!
A lot of hard work went into preparing for the testing that took place at the AYR Library.
The next step will be Stable Management and Riding on May 5th at Twisted Pine Farm.
